Do I have to book?
Our stores are sufficiently staffed to be able to perform any wash service without a booking. Booking online is available for the Star Wash , Platinum Wash, Star Polish & Star detail. Our booking system ensures the customer allow a 2 hours “window” before arriving at the car wash. This is to allow due notice to our staff to prepare for the booking & to offer priority in accepting the vehicle. Payment is accepted by credit card or paypal.
Can I change my online booking?
Yes simply go to the Star website and go to Online bookings. Here you will find an option to Change The booking.
Detail Online Bookings and Detail Voucher Purchases
Please note that should the vehicle booked online or present with a Detail Voucher require electric buffing or is heavily soiled – additional charges may apply.
What is the difference between a Star Wash and a Platinum Wash?
A Star Wash is a basic exterior and interior service for customers who wash their cars regularly. A Platinum Wash is a service that requires more care and time for cars that have not been washed in a while.
Greater attention to the interior of the vehicle is afforded to the Platinum Wash. See Services & Price List under main menu for more details.
How long are the 5/10 Pack Loyalty Books valid for?
10 pack valid for 1 year. 5 Pack valid for 6 months.
What is the main difference between Gift Voucher & 5/10 Pack Loyalty Books?
The Gift Vouchers can be used at any Star Car Wash Branch. The Loyalty Books are sold in 5 or 10 Packs & can be used only at the branch purchased.
How long are gift vouchers valid for?
Up to 6 months per voucher.
I can't find the PDF voucher I just purchased?
Vouchers are usually sent to your email or smart phone or can be posted if elected. Occasionally the PDF voucher may land in your junk mail by mistake. Did you know you can move your vouchers to your “wallet” on your smart phone?
What time do you close?
Generally our Shopping Centre Car Washes close and open at the same time as the Shopping Centre. Our outdoor Car Washes close generally at 5pm. Check store details under Find a Location in the main menu.
When is the latest time I can bring my car in?
We recommend bringing car in no later than half an hour before closing time.
How do I get in touch with the Car Wash directly?
The contact details for each site are on the website. The landline is often diverted to the manager mobile as he may be working on vehicles or offsite.
Should you be unable to contact the site directly call 1300 STAR (7827) 00 and we can direct your call to the site.
How long will it take?
A Star Wash usually takes 35 minutes, a Platinum Wash usually takes 45 minutes, a Star Polish usually takes an hour and 15 minutes - however these times will vary depending on your car’s requirements.
How do I know when my car is ready?
We’ll notify you by SMS when your vehicle is ready. Please let the attendant know what time you expect your vehicle to be ready. You may leave your vehicle in our parking bay but centre parking charges are not covered by your wash service.
What if I'm not satisfied with the service I've received?
If any area of the vehicle is "missed", this is rectified at the time of the wash at the site. Alternatively please contact our Head Office at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with the result?
Whilst every effort is made to achieve a high standard and customer satisfaction is paramount, on occasion this standard may not always be achieved. For minor areas that may have been missed we require the opportunity to fix the issues within a reasonable time period. This will be done whilst you wait or we will offer a more suitable time at a later date free of charge.
